On his first Special Forces mission , West Point grad Nick Rowe is ambushed by a superior force of V.C. and captured. He's kept in the U Minh forest in the Mekong Delta by V.C. militia for 5 years. He deceives them about his Intel background, telling them that he's in infrastructure building missions.
