Richard Hefter is an author, illustrator, publisher and graphic designer. He has created more than 200 books for children with 50 million in print. His "Sweet Pickles" characters have had two major book clubs, 60 titles and licensed sales of $200 million. Mr. Hefter has won awards for graphic and type design and his paintings are in the collections of major museums. He holds degrees in Fine Arts from Pratt Institute and was a Fulbright Fellow.
